The latter are highly advantageous as they enable fast assembly and disassembly, and facilitate installation. However, inappropriate installation may entail potential joint tightness problems and consequent risks of liquid or gas leakage.<\/p><p>Due to the importance of such joints, the assembly personnel is expected to be appropriately trained and certified, which is governed by the European standard EN 1591-4 and by the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive.<\/p><p>The program is intended for the assembly personnel, inspectors, work supervisors and anyone who may, one way or another, handle flanged joints.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section The scope of the first day focuses on the theoretical background, while the second day encompasses practical exercises<\/p><h3 style=\"margin-bottom: 0;\">The following topics are covered:<\/h3><ul><li>Design of flanged joints<\/li><li>Sealing materials<\/li><li>Bolts<\/li><li>Sealing surfaces<\/li><li>Installation and tightening of bolts<\/li><li>Testing<\/li><\/ul><h3 style=\"margin-bottom: 0;\">Flanged joints:<\/h3><ul><li>General safety precautions<\/li><li>Types of flanged joints<\/li><li>Types of bolts and basics of bolt tensioning<\/li><li>Types of seals and their properties<\/li><li>Seal surface requirements<\/li><li>Tolerances<\/li><li>Control of bolt tensioning<\/li><li>Issues and deficiencies<\/li><\/ul><h3 style=\"margin-bottom: 0;\">Screw tubing connections:<\/h3><ul><li>Types of bolted pipe connections<\/li><li>Guidelines for bolted pipe connections assembly<\/li><\/ul><p>Procedure for the assembly and disassembly of flanged joints, as well as the assembly instructions for bolted pipe connections are presented.<\/p><h3 style=\"margin-bottom: 0;\">During practical exercises, the candidates get familiar with:<\/h3><ul><li>Assembly and disassembly of flanged joints and bolted pipe connections,<\/li><li>Leak-tightness testing and<\/li><li>Preparation of assembly and testing report.<\/li><\/ul><p>The training is conducted by specialists with extensive experience in the areas of pressure equipment and its periodic inspection.<\/p><p>If required, the training can be organized on customer premises for at least five (5) and maximum ten (10) people.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t                            <\/div>\n\t\t        \n                    <div id=\"certification--tab\" class=\"clearfix eael-tab-content-item inactive\" data-title-link=\"certification--tab\">\n\t\t\t\t        \t\t\t\t\t        <h1>Certification<\/h1>\n<p>To earn the certificate for <strong>Dismantling, assembly and tightening of bolted joints in accordance with SIST EN 1591-4<\/strong>, a candidate is to take the examination following the training. There are two parts to the exam, a theoretical and a practical segment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The theoretical part consists of 20 questions, and a passing score is 70%.<\/li>\n<li>For the practical part a candidate receives three different exam samples \u2013 two flanges, one for disassembly and one for assembly, and one bolted pipe connection. The passing score is 70%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Certificate validity<\/h3>\n<p>Having met all the requirements, a candidate is issued the certificate, effective from the date of fulfilling all pertinent requirements (training and successful passing the examination) and valid for the period of five (5) years.<\/p>\n<p>The extension of the certification shall be requested on the part of the certificate holder prior to the expiry of the first certificate. For the certificate to be permanently valid, the entire exam is to be taken anew. Should the candidate fail to reach a passing score of 70%, \u00a0s(he) is to resit the exam.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t                            <\/div>\n\t\t        \n                    <div id=\"pricing-tab\" class=\"clearfix eael-tab-content-item inactive\" data-title-link=\"pricing-tab\">\n\t\t\t\t        \t\t\t\t\t        <h1>Pricing<\/h1><p>The price which includes the training and certification is 370 EUR (VAT excluded). The price for the second, and any subsequent participant from the same organization is 296 EUR per person (VAT excluded).<\/p><p>The price includes all training material and consumables, the organization of the training and certification, lecturers and examiners, examination itself, the preparation of the document as a proof of the training and the certificate (if a candidate has
