class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Following the requirements of SIST EN ISO\/IEC 17024, the certification of \u201cnon-destructive testing\u201d personnel is delivered in accordance with the SIST EN ISO 9712 standard. The certification cover all methods, listed in the NDT methods and products ranging from castings, forgings, welded joints, pipes, to formed products. Within industrial branches we encompass manufacturing, and testing prior to, and during operations.<\/p><p>The new training center facilities are located in the AVTOLINE, \u017dadovinek 37 in Kr\u0161ko. There are two lecture rooms that seat 25 and 15 people, respectively. Having earned the certificate, an NDT inspector is given the authorization to carry out all the activities within the scope listed in the certificate.<\/p><p>The validity of the certificate as per EN ISO 9712 is 5 years.\u00a0<\/p><p>5 after intial certification renewal of certificate can be done by:<\/p><ul><li>Practical examination (1 examination specimen and 1 additional written instruction for Level 2)<\/li><li>Credit structured system<\/li><\/ul><p><b>Certificate\u00a0<\/b><strong>must be extended prior to the certificate expiry.<\/strong>\u00a0Unless the validity is extended, the candidate has to apply for the certification again (take the exam). The responsibility of re-certification lies in the hands of a certificate holder.<\/p><p>10 years after\u00a0 the initial certification, a recertification can be done by:<\/p><ul><li>Practical examination (for Level 1 and 2)<\/li><li>Written examination (Level 3)<\/li><li>Credit structured system (Level 3)<\/li><\/ul><p><b>Recertification needs to take place prior to the certificate expiry.<\/b><\/p><h3>Certification procedure<\/h3><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qtechna.si\/hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2026\/04\/SP-10.01-Rules-on-certification-procedure-for-NDT-personnel-Level-1-2-and-3-in-accordance-with-SIST-EN-ISO-9712-rev17.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The certification procedure<\/a>\u00a0is clearly defined and a candidate should be familiar with it in advance.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qtechna.si\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/02\/diagram3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"962\" height=\"106\" \/><\/p><h3>Training<\/h3><p>A candidate who applies for the certification has to get trained for a specific method first. The training has to take place in the training center, approved by the accredited and notified certification body.<\/p><p><strong>Prior to the training, a candidate has to submit the evidence of visual adequacy to the training center.<\/strong><\/p><p>In the table below, the minimal duration of specific training is stated. At direct certification apply to Level 2, training days are summed together.<\/p><h3>APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATION<\/h3><p>The application for certification is a document by means of which a candidate defines the scope he\/she wants to be certified for. In addition, a 70% score has to be achieved as a minimum in the practical part of the exam for each sample and for an NDT procedure.<\/p><p>The passing grade in accordance with ASME standards is 70% at minimum in each part of the exam (i.e., general, specific or A, B, and C)and at least 80% for practical part.The average of all parts of the exam has to be 80% as a minimum.<\/p><h3>NDT
