Virtually every product is associated with welding, one way or the other. Essentially its purpose is to solder metal and a wide range of artificial materials.

In terms of technology, it is classified among the so called special processes, where without destructive testing, the prediction of welds properties lacks precision. Namely, the products which are to be put to use cannot be tested by those methods, so it is key to ensure all needed prerequisites for quality work which is then performed in compliance with proven technologies. Basically, it means the emphasis is laid on quality assurance.

Dealing with large projects in power generation, infrastructure, gas pipelines, load-bearing structures, pharmaceutical and chemical plants as well as in other demanding technologies, generally, welding is closely observed by an investor. By such practice they get an insight into every phase of the process, which is important since some of them allow this observation only during the execution phase, after completion it is impossible.

During welding inspection we first check technical documentation - WPS, welding plans, all certificates/attestations, which is followed by inspection prior, during and after welding. At the end, generally, great emphasis is put on the quality of testing, and non-destructive testing in particular.

To a large extent the observation of welding works assists problem avoidance related to quality, and consequently difficulties during start up, or operation.
